Dogs are powerful animals. While some dogs are bred to be small companions, others are bred to be ultimate beasts with extreme power, but still be gentle enough to be around people. How strong is the strongest dogs bite? Humans have a bite force of about 160 pounds, while the average dog can bite at around 230 pounds. Just remember,it takes about 500 pounds to break a human skull.
10: German Shepherd: 238 pounds of pressure

The German Shepherd is chosen for police because it is agile, strong, and has a threatening bark. These dogs also bite pretty hard.

The third German dog on this list, the Rottweiler has a stronger bite than the last two. Contrary to popular belief, the Rottweiler's brain doesn't grow and cause the dog to become aggressive.
7: Akita Inu: 350 pounds of pressure

The Akita Inu (both American and Japanese) has an incredible bite force. These dogs are not for beginning owners. Did you know that an elderly man lost both of his legs due to an Akita attack? Read about it here: https://www.newsweek.com/grandad-man-legs-amputated-sepsis-dog-attack-akita-brother-law-1651857#:~:text=A%20grandfather%20has%20had%20both,46%2Dyear%2Dold's%20funeral.

Tied with the Tosa, the French Mastiff has a pretty hard bite as well. However, these dogs are friendly with people.
2: Cane Corso: 700 pounds of pressure

The Cane Corso was said for a long time to have the strongest bite out of any dog breed. These dogs can bite harder than an African Lion (650). However, the next dog clearly outranks this Italian Mastiff.
1: Kangal Shepherd: 743 pounds of pressure

The strongest jaws belong to the Kangal. Kangal dogs have the power to fight bears, wolves, and whatever else dares to attack livestock.
I wonder if these dogs can still bite hard without teeth or it'll just be an uncomfortable amount of pressure. Cars can kill you if they have tires or they don't, so maybe? 🤔 Happy reading, and of course, Canine Good.
